I agree. The VS show this year was quite disappointing. I love to watch the shows from more on an artistic/design aspect especially since the lingerie and looks remind me a lot of the Winx outfits which I've always thought have been super fun. Apart from the snow angels and birds of paradise looks, the rest of the were plain strange. Nice job, this look reminds me a lot of the old VS days when the segments and costumes were more elaborate and truly pieces of art, not just glorified push up bras!
so don't push such a graphic display of sexuality. What Nina has displayed has been featured in the shows constantly and is the core of the "dream angels" collection of bras and panties from VS, i used to work there, soft colours and flowers, delicate lace and embroidery are key concepts for many of the bras, just google "constance jablonki dangerous liason"
I have been obsessed with Victoria Secret ever since 2011 (sorry, I have an unhealthy attraction to lingerie). I LOVE this design. I love the wrist accessory on her left arm. I might just be surfing through the V.S website again.
Trust me they can get a bit annoying when you're about to watch a vid on Youtube and they suddenly shove boob shots in you're face. While the underwear itself is pretty I'd rather see it then the models...though...this is speaking as a girl who despite not minding flirty outfits can't stand underwear commercials...Seriously what is it with them and their close ups?! -__-
constructive criticism, as in an actual critique of the work, is something NOT given by the audience of the work, but rather given by those who are in the same profession as the artist and have extensive knowledge of both the theoretical and practical applications of whatever technique the artist is/should be using.
I am not such a specialist, thus if i were to try and give a proper 'critique' I would be talking out of my ass and while i fully recognize that I am quite an asshole with people who do stupid things and that i feel deserve it, I am not an asshole who goes on spouting bullshit about things he knows nothing about.
and before you reply with a snarky 'then why bother commenting at all' come back, i'll say again, it's the comment's section, not the critique section. there's a reason why authors can request to have actual legitimate critiques on deviant art that are held separate from the rest of the comments. My comment served no other purpose than to have me express my opinion of this work, just liek everyone else who goes around saying only "wow, so nice!" or "damn, that's sexy!" like a bunch of plebeians, and the fact that my opinion happens to be negative does not invalidate my ability to express it.
