Disney High Sketchdump 3

More disney high stuff, but only half-assed sketches sorry. Some of these are months old and i just kept them hanging around until i had more to collect them with. There were some that were so old i actually looked back on them and thought 'yeah, thats too bad to even include' hahaha. So yeah, thats why the styles are kind of...all around the place. My style keeps changing as i try and improve certain things or change how i draw some things all together.

Top corner is meg, by popular demand! I decided to draw her with her hair down since i don't think ive ever seen a pic like that, and i was curious to try and draw it myself. She is also in the middle in her library assistant outfit. I drew her hair sweeping to a differant side to be differant, i think it looks nice too.

Theres a little tiny pic of Jasmine, which i hate the face, but i tried drawing her movie hair and i liked it.

Next to her is Jane! Such a cutie patootie! I should watch that movie again soon...

Then Ariel in a super cool outfit.

Below Megs floating head is Mulan, in her more tomboyish outfit. I actually want to talk about Mulan for a second too, since i have gotten a lot of messages from you guys commenting on how the outfits ive been giving her are too girly and that doesn't suit her at all. I disagree, since in the movies she does wear dresses and feminine clothes, and i've always thought that it wasn't the outfits that she has an issue with, its constrictive views on what a women should and shouldn't be in imperial china. Yes, she dresses as a boy to get into the army and shows that she can fit in with the guys and be strong, but at no point does the movie actually put down feminine things or feminine clothes, and at the end of the movie, she still continues to wear them. In my story (if some of you have been reading it) i've replace the army with a sports team, and i will have Mulan let her tomboy side out and prove herself worthy and such, but i'm not going to stop putting her in girly clothes either. I think this is a thing a lot of girls actually face in the world today, choosing between being a 'tomboy' or 'girly girl' because thats what the media and tv has shown, that you're either one or the other. You either wear converse or heels. You either like video games or shopping. You wear ripped jeans or you wear skirts. Some people seem to ignore the fact that there are a million girls out there who enjoy both! And there is nothing wrong with that! Some days i like wearing my hoodies and jeans and sneakers, and other days i love wearing dresses and heels. It aint no thang. I like fashion and makeup and comics and action movies.I bet you can tell me a million examples of these kind of things yourself. So yeah, i see Mulan like that, she has a girly side and a tomboy side and one isn't better than the other and she can still kick ass and take names.

Wow that turned into a rant and a half. Anyway, there is also a little mini shang sketch (probably the worst of the bunch. Sorry Shang) in a hoodie looking all broody. He was hard to draw. I didn't want to give him the little bun hairstyle, i could not manage to make it look cool.

Next to Meg is Belle, in a nice outfit.

Bottom Row has Arista, Ariels blonde sister.

Next to her is an experimental picture of Mulan in pyjamas. I tried being brave with poses. I half like it haha. Also she has cocoa.

And lastly in the corner is Snow white, in a fancy outfit. I had her hair shaded but the scanner didn't pick it up very well, so it doesn't look as much like her as i would've wanted.

AND yeah. Big sketchdump. Hope you guys are still reading the fic! It was just updated with a new chapter recently (Omg are we really up to number 12 already?) and i've reached over 500 reveiws. Crazy stuff! I love you guys!
