Description

Not doing a summary here, like i have for the rest of the girls, since she still hasn't shown up in the story yet and i want it to be at least a little bit of a suprise.

But yeah. High waisted jeans with the tied flannel shirt and crop top, i wanted to do the whole revived-nineties-grunge trend that's in right now. Effortless tomboy chic. I dont think i can add her to the lineup picture because the style looks so different to all the others! How can my drawings change so much in a year? Improvement i hope. If i wasn't so lazy i'd want to re-draw the whole thing now haha.

Her hair was fun to draw. First i started drawing in my usual way, doing really controlled looking curls, then decided that looked awful and doing just big burly ones and then that didnt look good either. I tried to draw this hair like at least ten times before erasing it one more time and thinking right whatever i donT CARE TIME TO SCRIBBLE AW YEAH JUST SCRIBBLE GO CRAZY PEN FLYING EVERYWHERE WHOOO SCIBBLE SCRATCH SCRATCH URL WAVY HECK YEAH SON LET LOOSE WITH IT DASH SOME COPICS IN THERE SCRIBBLE THEM TOO UNF WHAT WAAAT and yeah in the end i think it turned out ok.

and that my friends is called the artist process.

Sketched in pencil, coloured in copics, edited in photoshop.

You didn't need to draw controlled curls anyways Nina, Merida's hair curls up in a wild and organized way - but this still, looks cute Love
