DH: Belle's prom dressby *Nina-D-Lux

So when i uploaded my disney high collection i promised prom dresses for all the girls
Heres a list of the girls i will be doing in future:
Mulan
Rapunzel
Jasmine
Belle

and Lottie

Also im going to mention that all of this pics are based around a story i'm writing over on FF.net [link] and in the story i'm not actually including a prom, but just a casual highschool dance. But naming these pictures 'Ariels casual highschool dance dress' isn't as catchy as 'prom dress' so that's why that's happening haha. Just saying, since if American proms are anything like Australian Balls, the girls would probably wear long, floor length dresses and i'm designing the girls cocktail dresses like this one.

I got a lot of comments on my disney high girls that i dressed them 'slutty' and that a lot of people didn't like the choices i made with their outfits, which is fine everyones entitled to an opinion and whatever, and now i feel like im going to get the same type of comments on this since i made Belles dress short and tight. So again, feel free to hate it, but maybe consider that you don't particularly need to tell me. I don't mean this in a rude way, its not about me not taking criticism, its just that I'm not going to change it. Everyone has different tastes and different ideas, and just because its not something you would picture for her, well, i don't know what to say but oh well : ) again, really not trying to come off as rude here! smiles all around!

But yeah, anyway, i chose this design becuase obviously it's based around her famous gold ballroom scene dress. I went with the same off the shoulders style and modernized it with the draping across the front. I chose not to do a poofy style skirt, since iv'e seen another beautiful version of someones disney prom dress ideas and they've already done that idea perfectly, i couldn't improve on it so i thought instead i would do something different and go for an bodycon chic style. I also have the idea that Adam/Beast would have bought this dress for her as a gift, not knowing much about womens fashion at all and just ordering what the lady at the store cosnidered the best she had in stock. Belles maybe even a little embarrassed to wear something so showy and fashionable, which i wanted to show through her pose, but ultimately she wears it as she doesn't want to waste Adam's gift, as it was a sweet gesture.

I love her cuz she has a body and her dress looks awesome in realistic terms her dress would be that short the styles now a days have really short skirts etc..so people calling her slutty is ridiculous .. I love the concept and have just started reading your story.. It would be awesome if Disney actually picked up your story as a show idea. I would definitely be up to that idea. Also your art style i like it because your lines are curvy and have a softness to them.. if you had an art book with all of your work I would buy it.. Awesome work..I need to see more. XD
